Cripps Waratah is proud to offer the NetSetGO! Program
Cripps Waratah's Netsetgo Program has many club coaches and volunteers to teach the littlies to gain valuable netball basic skills from an early age. This national program generally runs during the months of October - November.
NetSetGO! is Netball Australia’s junior netball program. It has been developed to provide children from 5 – 10 years old with the best possible learning and playing experience to develop a positive introduction to netball ensuring enjoyment and continued participation.
The program has been designed to complement the existing netball infrastructure by providing community groups such as Associations, clubs and schools with quality resources and equipment to deliver an age and skill appropriate netball program.
5-7yrs (Net - Skill Acquisition), 8yrs (Set - Skills & Transitioning to Court Set-UPS) & 9/10yrs (GO! - Match Play)
The program incorporates skill activities, minor games and modified matches and will be coordinated by accredited coaches to ensure a quality experience for all participants. The introduction of children to organised competitive Netball should be gradual and is best achieved through minor games / activities and modified rules.
